Christmas Charity Open 2025

Open Competition in aid of Cystinosis Ireland

Saturday 27 December 2025 from 11am (approx 3 hours)

Leixlip Tennis Club is delighted to announce our Annual Christmas Charity Open for 2025. We are once again very proud to host this year's competition in aid of a charity that's very close to our hearts, Cystinosis Ireland.

The event is open to members and non-members of age 14 and up of all levels and experience.

Players will compete in doubles and mixed doubles matches.

The entry fee for participating is €10 per person though additional donations are always welcome. All proceeds will be donated to Cystinosis Ireland.

We look forward to a great turnout and a fun competition for all.

Report of 2024 Christmas Charity Event

Competition Format

• Registrations will take place on the day
• Each match will be either doubles or mixed doubles
• Pairings will be pulled out of a hat
• Matches will be played over a number of short timed rounds (15-20 minutes each round)
• A point will be awarded for each game won
• The player with the most points after all rounds are played, will win the event
• The winner's name will be engraved on the perpetual trophy

Cystinosis Ireland works to serve and partner with patients and families of those living with Cystinosis in Ireland. Cystinosis Ireland is the only charity organisation in Ireland working on behalf of the Cystinosis community
